At 11:15, Kathryn Golden joins us to share information about the 4th Annual PorchFest KC, October 14, 2017, in Midtown, KCMO, from Noon to 5:00 PM. This year’s Porchfest will again be in the Valentine neighborhood, but also in the Old Hyde Park and Roanoke neighborhoods. We’ll play music from three participating musical artists in this year’s festival: from Rogers, Arkansas – Cameron Johnson, from Kansas City – Keaton Conrad, and from Des Moines, Iowa – The Host Country. Registration is now open for bands wanting to apply. All genre welcomed. All performances are 60 minute sets. Performances are acoustic or near-acoustic. The goal is to be heard to the sidewalk, not down the street. This is an all-ages, alcohol free event. Registration is now open at http://www.porchfestkc.com.
