only as told,
let all and nothing go beyond,
back into
the coffee-clogged drain the red, potted plant
a stranger in a cage
the coroner
could not recognize
her only son
as time leaves your body behind, how will you know?
unholy beach celebrated among
the dirt and scum of
all we won
all we won with patience
