11:11 – Interview with John McCrite

John McCrite directed plays in Kansas City and Chicago before moving to Los Angeles where he has made several short films and is the director for the web series “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Adjacent.” John’s new short film, “ONE THIRD THE TERROR” will make its premiere at the KC LGBT Film Festival – Out Here Now, June 21, at 5:30 pm, at The Tivoli Theater. John wrote and directed this film and will be at the premiere with the star, Scott Presley.

This is John’s second film to be selected for the KC LGBT Film Festival?

John grew up here in Kansas City and Film Festival Director Jamie Rich’s father was hissed Boy Scout Troupe Leader, in North Kansas City.

“ONE THIRD THE TERROR” features actor and drag performer Scott Presley and is based on a 1970s era, ABC made for TV movie, staring Karen Black called “Trilogy of Terror.” John told us about how he was inspired to make this film.

You will be at the premiere with the star, Scott Presley.

Following John’s film will be the KC premiere of “I AM DIVINE.”
