Marion Merritt

Marion Merritt

Marion Merritt has been the most frequent contributor to Wednesday MidDay Medley. For the past 12 years, Marion has been sharing her musical discoveries and information from her encyclopedic brain. Marion has also joined us for every on-air fund drive, for over a decade, helping with her time and generous support. A few years ago Marion opened Records With Merritt, a small, independent, minority owned business, at 1614 Westport Rd. in Kansas City, Missouri. And in the spirit of Anne Winter, a renegade who helped launch KKFI, Marion Merritt, is keeping the tradition of, female-owned, independent record stores, on Westport Road alive!
