De De DeVille

At 10:30, one of Kansas City’s most famous Drag Queens, De De DeVille joins us to talk about: “The Condensed Diva’s Digest Dramatic Reading of Fifty Shades of Grey,” Starring De De DeVille , Philip ‘blue owl” Hooser, Eartha Delights, Andy Chambers, Kimberely Queen, Wick Grimm and a surprise performer. The show will be presented at The Fishtank Performance Studio, Friday, September 21 at 8:00 PM, and Saturday, September 22 at 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM. At the 11:00 show, cast members will perform in their underwear.

Midwestern Audio

At 11:30, Mark talks with Brenton Cook who joins us live on the phone from Montreal where Brenton is attending the Pop Montreal Festival. Brenton will talk about “Midwestern Audio” Vol. 1, an amazing new compilation he has assembled for Midwest Music Foundation and co-sponsored by Ink Magazine. The double-CD set features over 40 area bands.
