At 10:30 Mark welcomes KC based musical artist, Folkicide who has just released his new full-length vinyl album, “The Meaningless Glare of Broken Human Beings.” All songs on “The Meaningless Glare of Broken Human Beings” were written by Folkicide. The album also features guest artists: Jason Beers, Betse Ellis, Mike Walker, Darren Welch and Marco Pascolini on various tracks of the 13 song release. More info at


At 11:00, Mark talks with Jamie Rich, Director, of the 2014 Out Here Now: Kansas City LGBT Film Festival, June 26 – July 3, at Tivoli Cinemas, in Westport. Join us in the conversation about this year’s festival is Nick Corporon, originally from KC, Nick will be at opening night of the festival, Friday, June 27, to discuss his new feature length film “Retake” and for a screening of his film “Barbie Boy,” that explores gender.
