Mark plays “Our 14 Favorite MidCoastal Singles from 2014.” We’ll spin 7″ vinyl and play single releases from: Shy Boys, The Philistines, Josh Berwanger, Radkey, Bad Ideas, Red Kate, Oils, White Girl, Lazy, Outsides, Rev Gusto, Kristie Stremel, David George & a Crooked Mile, and Chris Hazelton’s Boogaloo 7.

At 11:00 Michelle Bacon, Editor-in-Chief of The Deli Kansas City, will share her favorite musical releases of 2014. Michelle is active in the local music scene with Midwest Music Foundation, and working with Folk Alliance International and playing in the bands: Dolls on Fire, The Philistines, and Drew Black & Dirty Electric. At 11:30 Mark welcomes members of the KC band, Dolls on Fire. We’ll feature music from their new LP release “Synesthesia” to be released December 12. Dolls on Fire include: Zach Hodson, Rachel Jaggard, Michelle Bacon, Mark Johnson, and Ben Byard. Dolls on Fire play Davey’s Uptown, Saturday, November 22, with Kawehi Riddles, and Rob Rice, in a benefit for Mosh Pit and The Rescue Project. Dolls on Fire play Davey’s Uptown, Friday, December 12, with The Philistines and Pedaljets, celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Wednesday MidDay Medley.
