Mark talks with musician, singer and songwriter, Katlyn Conroy, a Lawrence, Kansas native, who was a member of the acclaimed and popular band Cowboy Indian Bear. Katlyn is a winner of a 2013 Pitch Music Award. Katlyn has been releasing and performing her own songs as La Guerre, since 2009. Playing sometimes solo, and also as a 4-piece band, La Guerre’s newest album, Sapphires, was released January 20, 2015, by The Record Machine. La Guerre plays Replay in Lawrence on Friday, March 6. La Guerre also plays Crown & Harp in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday, March 14, and Dan’s Silverleaf in Denton, Texas, on Sunday, March 15 before traveling to the SXSW Music Fest in Austin.
