At 10:30 Mark welcomes back to the show, musician Sterling Witt, who joins us to share music from his new album Satyagraha, recorded with legendary producer Steve Albini in Chicago. Also joining us is Robin Rosenberger of Moondrop Circus who collaborated with Sterling on his new music video, “Perception Deception.” Sterling Witt is presenting a Pledge Music Campaign Kick Off Concert featuring MoonDrop Circus, on Saturday, August 15, at 7:00 pm at The Workhouse – Kansas City Historic Castle, 2001 Vine Street, in Kansas City Missouri. Friday, August 14 at miniBar, featuring: Drugs & Attics, Sister Mary Rotten Crotch, Concrete, Assault and Battery, Slugs, Reacharounds, Lovecraft, Rat Brains, Brain Dead; Saturday, August 15 at Harling’s Upstairs, featuring: The Uncouth!, Frontline Attack, Red Kate, Bad Taste, Thelma And The Sleaze, Faultfinder; and Sunday, August 16, at FOKL, featuring: Oaks, Drop a Grand, Radradriot, Wick & The Tricks, Dishpit, Izzi Savage and the Cannibal, Bad Boyfriends, and chasm (KC). This two-piece math-rock outfit infuses drums, guitar, looping pedal and effects, to create a huge booming beautiful, complex sound of patterns and riffs and melody. Their debut full-length Headrush was released on limited edition cassette in April.
