Both women are in KC, along with hundreds of musicians from around the world, to play at Folk Alliance International Conference. Megan and Kristen tour individually all over the country in support of their releases. Kristen performs over 200 shows a year, fusing indie, folk, country, blues & rock and roll. Her one-woman band performance includes guitar, percussion and variety of effects pedals, creating a unique musical experience. Megan Slankard calls her latest release “…a healthy mix of stories about the end of the world, bank robberies, prison escapes, failed relationships, and other adventures.” More info at: http://www.meganslankard.com and http://www.kristenfordmusic.com
