Wednesday MidDay Medley features music from 17 bands participating in the KKFI’s 17th annual Crossroads Music Fest, Saturday, September 11th, 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Presented by Community Lending of America. CMF features over 30 bands, in Kansas City’s East Crossroads and West Bottoms Arts & Music Districts. Mark spins tracks from 17 of the bands participating in the 17th Annual Crossroads Music Fest: The Freedom Affair, The Black Mariah Theatre, Danny Cox, The Life I Love, Lazy Projector, Jessica Paige, Kadesh Flow, Jass, Sam Wells, Sara Morgan, Quite Frankly, Sopchoppy, The Black Creatures, Grand Marquis, Arquesta Del SolSoul, TRAVLLR, and Casio McCombs.

Bill Sundahl, 90.1 FM KKFI’s Development Director joins as co-host to share details about the 17th Annual Crossroads Music Fest on 4 OUTDOOR STAGES with 2 stages in East Crossroads at Parlor, 1707 Locust and at MOD Gallery, 1809 McGee; and 2 stages in West Bottoms at Lemonade Park, 1628 Wyoming and the Stockyards Brewing Company, 1600 Genessee.

Bill also shares details about the Festival’s special features: The Free All Ages – Day Party at Lemonade Park from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM with StoneLion Puppet Theater, Drum Safari, and Beau & Aidan Bledsoe. ALSO, City of Drums from 6:40 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 11, when drums will fill the city at Parlor Stage, 1707 Locust Street; at MOD Gallery, 1809 McGee, and at Lemonade Park 1628 Wyoming in The West Bottoms, featuring: Pythons Drill Team, Broadway Drill Team & Three Trails Taiko.
