Danielle Anderson is a songwriter, recording artist, and comedic performer based in KC. Danielle’s first one woman show, The Greatest Garage Sale Ever, was the winner of “Best of Bird Comedy Theater”, “Made in KC” and the “Englewood Partnership Programs” Awards at KC Fringe 2024, and went to Denver Fringe in 2025, and Fort Collins Fringe in 2026. At 11:00 Mark talks with Artist Katheryn Krouse a full-time artist based in Kansas City, known for her vibrant and textured artwork. Katheryn Krouse has served as Visual Arts Coordinator for KC Fringe for 12 years. This year the Visual Art component of the KC Fringe Festival will be presented at Union Station on Thursday, October 1 through Friday, October 16, 2026. Katheryn Krouse holds Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Painting and Modern Art History from the University of Kansas and has participated in various public art projects. While in high school, Katheryn settled on the idea of one day becoming an art teacher, with the intention of making and selling my art on the side. She went on to study Art Education at the University of Kansas, when things took a dramatic turn. In August of 2010, she was diagnosed with Stargardt’s Disease, a rare form of macular degeneration in her retinas. Within months, it had progressed to where she could no longer maintain a drivers license, due to her low vision. During this time she truly found how healing art making can be. At 11:30 Mark talks with Joshua Davidson a Kansas City based musician who records and performs music as Lee Walter Redding. Lee Walter Redding recently released a new 4-song EP, Head on Swivel, on June 5, 2026 and features the newest single, “Capsized”. Lee Walter Redding was raised on 60s rock, steeped in 90s Britpop ennui, and guided by contemporary neo-soul. Lee Walter Redding has released one album, four EPs, and 15 singles. Before recording as Lee Walter Redding, Joshua Davidson recorded and performed as Orthon Anderthon. He has collaborated with Stephonne and Teri Quinn and many others.
