[Organ-led psych-pop band from Los Angeles with a trippy, lo-fi sound. Mr. Elevator and the Brain Hotel take their name from a Donovan lyric, and their melding of ’60s psych-pop and contemporary lo-fi underground made them a natural fit for California D.I.Y. empire Burger Records, who signed them in 2013. Their debut album, Nico and Her Psychedelic Subconscious, pitted trippy organ-led jams against tuneful pop in a way similar to ’60s-referencing West Coast acts like Foxygen and the Allah-Las.][Mr. Elevator & The Brain Hotel play Riot Room, 4048 Broadway at 11:30 pm for MOTM.]

5. Strand of Oaks – “Heal”
from: Goshen ’97 / Dead Oceans / June 24, 2014
[Strand of Oaks, is a project by songwriter and producer Timothy Showalter. Originally from Indiana, he currently resides in Philadelphia. His music classifies with the genres rock and folk music, or folk rock. After high school, Showalter moved from Indiana to Pennsylvania. While Showalter was on tour, his wife had an affair. Escaping his detrimental relationship, he moved back to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 2003. A couple months later, he came home to find his house burned down. Showalter spent his nights in hotels and on park benches with a borrowed guitar while working at an orthodox Jewish day school. Despite the turmoil, he was able to find inspiration to continue writing music that would later be released. Showalter’s first album Leave Ruin was released in 2009 on the Pennsylvania label La Société Expéditionnaire while touring and collaborating with Lou Rogai (Lewis & Clarke). Pope Killdragon is a self-released album by Showalter. The album was produced by audio engineer, Ben Vehorn. While holding onto Strand of Oak’s folky sound, Vehorn added in synthesizers and effects pedals to create an album with a sound that was unexplored territory for Showalter. In between tours, Showalter wrote music for what would become Dark Shores. He recorded this album with John Vanderslice who produced the songs. “Dark Shores” (2012) is the 2nd album self-released by Showalter. Once Showalter returned from tour, he got to work recording about 30 demos in three weeks. He wrote and recorded songs in his home studio which led to his last album, HEAL (2014). This was the first album Showalter released on Dead Oceans. On Christmas Day in 2013, Showalter and Sue were driving back to Philadelphia from Indiana when they hit a patch of ice and crashed into two semi trucks. Showalter suffered a concussion and broke every rib on his right side. The near-death experience gave Showalter a boldness during mixing sessions while creating HEAL with John Congleton, just days after the crash. Since being released, “HEAL” has received much acclaim being named one of the best albums released in 2014. Showalter has toured extensively in support of the album and opened for Jason Isbell, Iron and Wine, and Ryan Adams. Strand of Oaks made their television debut in 2014 appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers][Strand of Oaks play the 7th annual Middle of the Map Fest, Friday, May 5, at The Uptown Theatre, at 8:00 PM, opening for Grammy Award winner, Jason Isbell.]

6. Jason Isbell – “Stockholm”
from: Southeastern / Southeastern Records / June 11, 2013
[4th studio album by singer-songwriter Jason Isbell. Produced by David Cobb, the album was released to widespread critical acclaim. Initially set to be produced by Isbell’s friend and touring companion Ryan Adams, the album was recorded following a stint in rehab, with Isbell noting, “This time I want to remember it all.” The album was recorded without the full participation of Jason Isbell’s regular backing band The 400 Unit, with Isbell noting: “It really came to the nature of the songs more than anything else. It’s a very personal record for me. And I had gone into the studio with the intention of making more of a solo, acoustic album. But Dave [Cobb], the producer, and I both sort of got bored with that idea and we decided to bring a band in for some things.” The 400 Unit band members Chad Gamble and Derry deBorja appear on drums and keyboards, respectively.][Jason Isbell plays Middle of the Map, Friday, May 5, at The Uptown Theatre, at 9:15 PM.]

Born in Peoria Illinois, in 1986, IVØRY BLACK, was Devin James Miclette, and has lived through many experiences in a journey that finds it’s way into the lyrics of IVØRY’s songs.

From IVØRY’s press materials: Growing up in a world where music was a way of self expressing oneself and turning to in times of trouble, it was inevitable that IVØRY would turn to it when waters were the roughest. “My parents listened to a lot of classics such as Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, The Bee Gees, The Rolling Stones, and Tom Petty just to name a few”, Ivory has said. One of which, when a child, Ivory almost burned out a Robbie Dupree single “Steal Away’’ due to the catchy rhythms and melody of the song. “I wasn’t really allowed to listen to newer things, ultimately cause of how conventional my parents really were.”

Spencer Brown, welcome back to Wednesday MidDay Medley

Rachel, Winnie, Trixie and Trampolina

From The Kinsey Sicks press materials: Humble Beginnings. The Kinsey Sicks began in 1993 as a group of friends who went to a Bette Midler concert in San Francisco dressed as the Andrews Sisters. Assuming they’d be among many drag queens, they found themselves to be the only ones (other than Bette, of course). They were approached that night to perform at an upcoming event. Their reply – “we don’t sing” – was quickly disproved when they realized that all of them had musical backgrounds. They began singing and harmonizing that night, and the seed for the Kinsey Sicks was planted.

It has been nearly 11 years since Spencer Brown first premiered his alter ego Daisy Buckët at Bar Natasha. Since then Daisy Buckët has helped to usher in a new generation of drag in Kansas City.

In 2004, the Kinsey Sicks were joined by actor/singer/designer Jeff Manabat, who is responsible for Trixie’s inordinate glamour and soaring counter-tenor, as well as the entire group’s hot couture. Beginning in October of 2008, the Kinsey Sicks are joined by the hilarious and talented Spencer Brown (“Trampolina”), a Kansas City-based actor and singer, already known for his drag character Daisy Buckët (pronounced, of course, “bouquet”)

3. The Sleazebeats – “Smile” (LIVE)
from: The Sleazebeats – The Sleazebeats / Independent / Jan. 1, 2012

10:10 – Interview Beth Marshall and Nico Gray

One of the big reasons Big Bang Buffet show happened last night, was because of the tragic massacre at the gay night club Pulse, in Orlando Florida, June 12, where 49 people were murdered and 53 others were wounded, by one man, armed with a SIG Sauer MMCX semi-automatic rifle, and a 9mm Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol, all easy to obtain in a country that worships guns more greatly than they worship Jesus. The Orlando massacre shook the entire country, but for LGBTQIA folk, we were devastated. Especially because from 1990 to 1996 Big Bang Buffet produced hundreds of hours of programming, in a gay bar. So many of us “came out” at gay bars. Late Night Theatre currently is presented at a Gay Bar. We all know what a crowed gay bar, at 2:00 in the morning, looks like, and feels like.

Beth Marshall lives in Orlando. She knew people who were in Pulse that night. She has produced shows at Pulse. As the news of this tragedy filtered out, it was social media that connected us. On Facebook we shared our shock, and grief, and sadness In the hours following of this tragedy, one of our facebook threads, started with Beth and Amy Britain, who lives in Rochester Minnesota, with her wife, Dr. Sara Hocker who works at The Mayo Clinic. The thread was saying we should all get together and do a Big Bang Buffet show again, a reunion of sorts, Ron Megee jumped into the thread and encouraged the conversation. From that thread, last night happened. Our intention made real, just like every other Big Bang Buffet Show.

Beth Marshall (Core Member of Big Bang Buffett from 92-95) known for Hosting, Performance Art and her portrayal of Laurie Anne Normal in Big Bang Buffett World News Report is thrilled to be back for BlackSheep Rising. Beth is the Producing Artistic Director/CEO of her 10 year old theatre company in Orlando Florida- Beth Marshall Presents, the recent recipient of Orlando Weekly’s Top 14 People We Love and Orlando Sentinel’s Top 5 Most Fascinating People In Central Florida. Beth’s body of work includes Fringe Festivals Globally, Serving as The Producing Artistic Director of Orlando Fringe, National New Play Network Ambassador, The VP of Canadian Association of Fringe Fests and actor from award wining indy films like Sunlight Jr to cheesy reality tv like South Beach Tow- her award winning stage credits range from top regional AEA theaters to the divest of gay bars! KCMO forever has a piece of her heart!

Beth is here with Nico Gray who was the guest producer of last week’s Wednesday MidDay Medley, which seems like longer than a week ago.

Nico, last night you performed on stage for the first time in 20 years, you started the show, and you started with a very strong piece. Thank you for you brave and beautiful and difficult piece. How do you feel about last night?

Beth Marshall introduced the piece: I REMEMBER I’M A RAINBOW By Aradhana Tiwari, that show Directed for After Orlando: PlayFest: After Pulse

4. Kristie Stremel – “Orlando (Keep Dancing)”
from: Orlando (Keep Dancing) – Single / Stremeltone / June 16, 2016
[Written by: Kristie Stremel. 2016 was a difficult year. On June 12, 2016, Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old security guard, killed 49 people and wounded 53 others in a hate crime inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Pulse was hosting Latin Night and most of the victims were Latino. About 320 people were inside the club, which was serving last call drinks at around 2:00 a.m. After arriving at the club by van, Omar Mateen approached the building on foot, armed with a SIG Sauer MCX semi-automatic rifle and a 9mm Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol and bypassed security and began shooting and taking hostages. After a three-hour standoff, he was shot and killed by Orlando Police Department officers. It was both the deadliest mass shooting by a single shooter and the deadliest incident of violence against LGBT people in United States history. It was also the deadliest terrorist attack in the US since the 9 /11 attacks in 2001. Recorded and Mixed by Paul Malinowski at Massive Sound. Mastered by John Hobson. Kristie Stremel on vocals & guitar, Anna Cook on cello & backround vocals, Ryan McCall on piano & background vocals. Described as “Joan Jett & Tom Petty’s love child,” and armed with her guitar, fueled by coffee, and over 75 published songs, singer, songwriter, producer, rock & roll mom. In October, 2013 Kristie and her partner, Lori Isabell, welcomed their adopted baby son, Charlie, into their family. The last track, “It’s Enough” was released early, as a video, featuring photos of couples in partnerships, relationships, marriages, unions, families. The video was Kristie’s response the the KS House of Representatives passing HD 2453 allowing business the right to refuse service to LGBT customers. In 2015 Kristie released, Wildflowers, her childrens book of song and poems with accompanying CD recording with contributions from Victor & Penny, Kelley Hunt, Ron Megee, Kasey Rausch and more.]

10:35 – Interview with Jen Harris

At the center of everything it was always the words, artists living on the edge, writing their way through political confusion, unwarranted wars, the fight for equality, and the bravery to go on stage and tell personal stories about our lives that had been kept silent for so long. [Described as “Joan Jett & Tom Petty’s love child,” and armed with her guitar, fueled by coffee, and over 80 published songs, singer, songwriter, producer, rock & roll mom. In October, 2013 Kristie and her partner, Lori Isabell, welcomed their adopted baby son, Charlie, into their family. In April 2014 Kristie released her 6th solo record, Songwriter, and the 9th full-length release of her musical career of over 20 years. Released on her own label, Stremeltone, it was Kristie’s first self-produced album. Stremeltone Records, was created in her home in Lawrence. The last track, “It’s Enough” was released early, as a video, featuring photos of couples in partnerships, relationships, marriages, unions, families. The video was Kristie’s response the the Kansas House of Representatives passing HD 2453 allowing business the right to refuse service to LGBT customers. The bill eventually died in the Kansas Senate. Songwriter, is Kristie’s self produced record that was mixed by famed musician and producer Lou Whitney, who in 2001 produced Kristie’s first solo full-length, “All I Really Want,” for Slewfoot Records. In 2014 we lost Lou who was 72 and was battling cancer, but still playing in his band Outland through 2013. Kristie has said that Lou Whitney was… “my mentor, a father figure,” Lou told Tim Finn in the KC Star: “I thought she had all the ingredients,” he said. “The songs were poppy efforts to write songs that might actually do something. She was writing personal stuff but couching it in this rock-pop way.” Chris Meck, played on the 2001, release, “All I Really Want.” He joined in on Songwriter and helped with “Wildflowers” a full length CD compilation of 14 original songs and 5 poems for and about children, with a book containing all of the lyrics with illustrations created by artist and friend Blue Haas. “Wildflowers,” is a hardcover, 9 x 6 landscape, full color 46 page book. Chris and Kristie hadn’t played together in over 10 years. Kristie also released a single “Love Makes A Family” with a read-along book for the song she wrote for her son Charlie, in an effort to explain the importance of family and to help celebrate the diversity in families today. In 2016 Kristie released her sing “Orlando (Keep Dancing)” in response to the Orlando massacre at the Gay Bar Pulse where 49 people were killed.]

and Travis Arey of Stiff Middle Fingers

The KC based Punk Rock and Roll band, Red Kate has been rocking venues since 2007. In the review of their debut EP, The Pitch wrote, “Bassist and lead vocalist L. Ron Drunkard, (aka Shawn Saving) is a socialist activist by day, bellows like an Appalachian Roger Daltrey.”The band’s first full-length album, “When the Troubles Come” was released on Replay Records in 2013. Last year the band released their follow up full – length record, unamerican activities, on Kansas City’s coop record label, Black Site. Both releases were recorded and engineered by Duane Trower at Weights and Measures Soundlab. Red Kate includes bassist and lead vocalist L. Ron Drunkard, Andrew Whelan on drums, & vocals, Desmond Poirier on guitar & vocals, and most recently added Shaun Hamontree to the band on rhythm guitar.

Stiff Middle Fingers were formed in 2010 as a classic punk cover band playing songs by Black Flag, Minutemen, Ramones, Sex Pistols, and more. The band started writing their own songs and have shared the stage with Bomb the Music Industry!, Joyce Manor, Agent Orange, Peelander-Z, Radkey, and have earned a reputation as one of the midwest’s must-see punk bands. Lead vocalist TurdKing (aka Travis Arey) fronts the band with “the passion for achieving unity through the common self-loathing and anxiety of all people.” Travis is known for climbing all over the venue, working the entire room, and sometimes street, with his 75-foot mic cord. Stiff Middle Fingers include guitarist Aaron “Barry” Swenson (Podstar, Many Moods of Dad), drummer George Valyer (The Primetime Heroes), and bassist Doug Griffin (The Dead Sevens, Chris Aytes & the Good Ambition).

Red Kate and Stiff Middle Fingers are releasing a new split single containing 4 new songs. L. from: Red Kate – Stiff Middle Fingers split 7″ / Black Site Records / April 8, 2017
[Lead vocals from TurdKing (aka Travis Arey) , guitarist Aaron “Barry” Swenson, drummer George Valyer, and bassist Doug Griffin.]

[Red Kate and Stiff Middle Fingers play a split-single record release at Davey’s Uptown Ramblers Club, Friday, April 7, at 9:00 pm, with Emmaline Twist, and Wick & The Tricks.]

“Stiff Middle Fingers harness the angst and energy of early punk and the irreverent intelligence of early aughts Saddle Creek. The combination of these two elements makes their songs part-snarl and part-snark. Perfect for summertime skanking in the daytime or shaking the walls of any dive bar at night, Stiff Middle Fingers take all the frenetic energy of being dissatisfied with life after a few pots of coffee and directs at a single goal: making music that burns through the veins of their listeners.”

Red Kate and the Stiff Middle Fingers have joined forces to release a new Split 7″ Single.

Engineered by Duane Trower at Weights and Measures Soundlab in Kansas City.

The split 7″ is a follow-up to the band’s critically acclaimed sophomore LP, unamerican activities, released in 2016 on their coop label, Black Site.

With the election of an authoritarian narcissist to the White House and white supremacy again on the rise, this hard, fast and angry polemic on the current state of affairs has turned out to be unfortunately prescient.

RED KATE released its first LP, When the Troubles Come, on Replay Records in 2013 and a 7″ split on Mills Record Company with fellow KC punks, The Bad Ideas, in 2014.

BLACK SITE is a record label cooperative created by Kansas City musicians interested in supporting regional punk and rock bands release their recordings on a physical medium. With the world around us becoming a deluge of digital 1’s and 0’s, transient as a trust fund crust punk on a cross country excursion, tangible art is critical to maintaining connections to our past, our sense of place, and who we are as a people. Only WE can create the world we want to live in. Reciprocity and solidarity are the cornerstones of building long lasting, self-sustaining community power that pushes back against the commodification of culture. Music is not a business; Punk is not a brand, and DIY is not a lifestyle to be consumed. This is a way of life, and if we don’t hang together, we’ll surely hang alone.

Red Kate has been rocking venues since 2007. The band is bassist and lead vocalist L. Ron Drunkard, Andrew Whelan on drums, vocals; Desmond Poirier on guitar, vocals, and Shaun Hamontree on rhythm guitar.

Stiff Miffle Fingers feature lead vocalist TurdKing (Travis Arey), guitarist Aaron “Barry” Swenson (Podstar, Many Moods of Dad), drummer George Valyer (The Primetime Heroes), and bassist Doug Griffin (The Dead Sevens, Chris Aytes & the Good Ambition),

Brian Clifton, of Mills Record Company.com writes, “SMF as a live band is bristling and precise, while still maintaining an off-the-cuff quality, often marathoning through 15-song sets in under 30 minutes. ”

12. Radiohead — “House of Cards”
from: In Rainbows / XL Recordings / October 10, 2007
[English rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, formed in 1985. The band consists of Thom Yorke (lead vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboards, other instruments), Ed O’Brien (guitar, backing vocals), Colin Greenwood (bass), and Phil Selway (drums, percussion, backing vocals). They have worked with producer Nigel Godrich and cover artist Stanley Donwood since 1994. After signing to EMI in 1991, Radiohead released their debut single “Creep” in 1992. It became a worldwide hit after the release of their debut album, Pablo Honey (1993). Their popularity and critical standing rose in the United Kingdom with the release of their second album, The Bends (1995). Radiohead’s third album, OK Computer (1997), propelled them to international fame; noted for its complex production and themes of modern alienation, it is often acclaimed as a landmark record of the 1990s and one of the best albums in popular music. The group’s next albums Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001), recorded simultaneously, marked a dramatic change in style, incorporating influences from experimental electronic music, 20th-century classical music, krautrock, and jazz. Despite initially dividing listeners, Kid A was later named the best album of the decade by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and the Times. Radiohead’s sixth album, Hail to the Thief (2003), mixed rock and electronic music with lyrics inspired by the War on Terror, and was the band’s final album for EMI. Their subsequent releases have pioneered alternative release platforms such as pay-what-you-want and BitTorrent. Radiohead self-released their seventh album, In Rainbows (2007), as a download for which customers could set their own price, to critical and chart success. Their eighth album, The King of Limbs (2011), an exploration of rhythm, was developed using extensive looping and sampling. Their ninth album, A Moon Shaped Pool (2016), prominently featured Jonny Greenwood’s orchestral arrangements.]

13. Roxy Music – “Grey Lagoons”
from: For Your Pleaure / Atco – Reprise / May 23, 1980
[the 2nd album by the English rock band Roxy Music, released by Island Records in 1973. It was their last to feature synthesiser and sound specialist Brian Eno, who would later gain acclaim as a solo artist and producer. The group was able to spend more studio time on this album than on their debut, combining strong song material by Bryan Ferry with more elaborate production treatments. For example, the song “In Every Dream Home a Heartache” (Ferry’s sinister ode to a blow-up doll) fades out in its closing section, only to fade back in again with all the instruments subjected to a pronounced phasing treatment. The title track fades out in an elaborate blend of tape loop effects. Brian Eno remarked that the eerie “The Bogus Man”, with lyrics about a sexual stalker, displayed similarities with contemporary material by the krautrock group Can. Of the more upbeat numbers on the album, “Do the Strand” and “Editions of You” were both based around insistent rhythms in the tradition of the band’s first single “Virginia Plain”. “Do the Strand” has been called the archetypal Roxy Music anthem, whilst “Editions of You” was notable for a series of ear-catching solos by Andy Mackay (sax), Eno (VCS3), and Phil Manzanera (guitar). Eno is very present in the final song from the album, “For Your Pleasure” making it unlike any other song on the album. The song ends with the voice of Judi Dench saying “You don’t ask. You don’t ask why” amid tapes of the opening vocals (‘Well, how are you?’) from “Chance Meeting” from the first Roxy Music album. A live recording of the song has been used in 1975 as a B-side to “Both Ends Burning”..]

from: Postcards / Lustre Records / March 10, 2017
[Pieta Brown’s new release Postcards features her collaborating with musical friends, including Calexico, Bon Iver, Mark Knopfler and the Pines. She compiled the album by writing simple acoustic demos of what would become the album’s songs, sending them to the musicians that make up Postcards‘ roster of guests, and having those artists finish the tracks. Brown and her collaborators never worked in the same room, which lent the album its distance-implying title. Street Tracker was created with Mark Knopfler. Brown was born in 1973, in Iowa City, Iowa. She is an American musician and singer-songwriter who has released five albums and three EPs. She has performed with artists such as Mark Knopfler, John Prine, Amos Lee, Justin Vernon and Calexico. Lou Jane Temple & Ron Megee

Lou Jane Temple & Ron Megee join us to talk about Cafe Lulu, The Spoken Word, Big Bang Buffet, Late Night Theatre, 39th Street, Golden Girls Gone Wilder, Nasty Sally Searsucker, Food, and Art.

Lou Jane Temple is a chef and author. During her final year of college and for several years after, she ran all of the back stage catering for the leading rock and roll producer in the midwest. This led to her own catering company doing events for the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, and eventually her own restaurant, Cafe Lulu which opened in 1989. Since 1992 she has served as a marketing and restaurant and wine consultant, she has worked as a private chef on an island, off the coast of Maine. She became a columnist for the Kansas City Star. She wrote seven semi-autobiographical culinary mysteries in her own Heaven Lee Series, through St. Martin’s Press, and then two more in a new Spice Box Series with Berkley Press. She also co-authored The Big Platter Cookbook. Through all of this Lou Jane has worked extensively in film, theatre, retail, marketing, and radio. Lou Jane is a 1977 Graduate of The University of Missouri with a double major in Communications and Administration of Justice. http://www.loujanetemple.com

Originally from Anaheim, California, Ron Megee has worked at every theater in Kansas City including The Kansas City Rep, The Coterie Theatre, New Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre. I first met Ron Megee through The Unicorn Theatre. He was running the spotlight for The Rocky Horror Show. We became friends while working together with Lou Jane Temple at Cafe Lulu. Laughter is healing and Ron Megee is a comic genius. He has created one of Kansas City’s most enduring and successful theatre companies, Late Night Theatre that began in 1997, and after a hiatus, was reborn several years ago at Missie B’s, on West 39th Street. In the last 20 years Late Night Theatre has produced over 100 shows, in the last 20 years, and are currently presenting. “Golden Girls Gone Wilder” now on stage through April 21,

Cafe Lulu is where I had originally met Lou Jane Temple when I worked on a show at The Unicorn where she catered the opening night of Expiring Minds – Six Women with Brain Death and where she designed special food props for Kiss of The Spider Woman.

It all started at Cafe Lulu, a restaurant started by Lou Jane Temple on West 39th Street that opened on my 26th birthday, on a Tuesday, June 5, 1989. The restaurant was packed, people waited for hours, champagne was ordered for the entire room, Lou Jane’s friends from the Art Institute, her catering company, her work in film, her connections to Westport, Kansas, music, and art, were all waiting to eat her food. Lou Jane was my art mother. Between her and myself, and Ron Megee we created a Monday night, weekly, curated, live variety show of writers, theatre people, musicians, bands, performance artists, puppeteers, storytellers, who shared the tiny stage at the center of this one of a kind place.

Several of the weekly contributors were using the show as an opportunity to try out new material before a live and willing audience. Before long, scenes and material led to full-length works, and projects to be produced outside Cafe Lulu. For these performances we needed an identity. Mark Manning, Janice Woolery, and Ron Megee, founded Big Bang Buffet as an effort to provide venue for original, difficult pieces, controversial material.

Ron and Lou Jane talked about Ron’s first musical, produced as part of Big Bang Buffet’s first season of shows, in the Spring of 1992, Nasty Sally Searsucker was produced in Lou Jane’s Columbus Park Loft and featured a Cafe Lulu bartender who also was an talented electric guitar player named, Jimmy McCallister, who created a lot of the music with Scott Seitz for the show.

Many of us think of Lou Jane as our “Art Mother”

She wrote seven semi-autobiographical culinary mysteries in her own Heaven Lee Series, through St. Martin’s Press, and then two more in a new Spice Box Series with Berkley Press. She also co-authored The Big Platter Cookbook.
