[Formed in 2014 in Montmartre area of Paris. Joon Moon is the meeting of House producer Julien Decoret, drummer Raphael Chassin and American expat and singer/song writer extraordinaire Krystle Warren. The Tiger EP comes after the release of 2 critically acclaimed EP’s, “Chess” and “Call Me”, and serves as another foreshadowing into their upcoming album “Moonshine Corner”, which will be released in September. After ten years of touring the world playing double bass with Marc Collin’s Nouvelle Vague ensemble, alongside excursions into house music on the Yellow Productions Art of Disco compilations, not to mention co-producing Florent Marchet’s Bamby Galaxy album, it was time for songwriter/producer/renaissance man Julien Decoret to dedicate his heart and soul to a new challenge. With Raphaël Chassin, (Hugh Coltman, Vanessa Paradis, Pauline Croze) on drums, helping out with the production and arrangements, and Sébastien Trouvé as sound engineer, Decoret set out on his retro-modern Joon Moon mission, laying out the contours of a world where trip-hop, jazz, soul and electronic music live side by side, sharing their joys and sorrows. The only missing element was that one last bit of magic, a voice that could take the project to ever-loftier heights. Enter Krystle Warren. She had worked with Rufus Wainwright, and Scritti Politti’s Green Gartside, and had made forays into house music herself by providing vocals to two cuts off Hercules and Love Affair’s, The Feast of the Broken Heart. That’s not even mentioning her own band, Krystle Warren and The Faculty – and its three albums – which display her impressive grasp of soul music, folk, blues…With Tiger, the band’s social concerns are brought to the forefront. A timely piece from a Franco-American band about the need to question authority and the power structure of society. Tiger sees its tension build up like an ominmous populist, and turns into defiance. Art and love combining in a movement towards emancipation.]

4. SSION – “My Love Grows In The Dark”

[Written by Cody Critcheloe, produced by J. Ashley Miller. SSION was formed in 1996, in Kansas City, by multi-talented vocalist, visual artist, musician, performance artist, music video director, Cody Critcheloe. SSION, have been known for their extravagant live shows and amazingly creative videos. SSION has toured with Gossip, Fischerspooner, CSS, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Cody Critcheloe has created and directed music videos for: Perfume Genius, Katy Perry, Santigold, CSS, Peaches, Gossip, and Tilly and the Wall.]

10:30 – Interview with Jen Appell

Jen Appell joins us to share music and details about her show “Arc of Joan.” In the wake of 9/11, Jen Appell co-created the original rock musical Joan the Maid (now performed as Arc of Joan). Informed by the political and social climate, the production envisioned what Joan of Arc’s life would have looked like under the microscope of modern media, reality television and the national obsession with cult of personality. In this re-envisioned workshop/production of the song cycle enhanced with slick video elements, Jen Appell and The Saints perform a minimalistic version of the musical to examine the heroine’s path of discovery, power, loss and acceptance.

Jen Appell on the July 26, 2017 edition of Wednesday MidDay Medley on KKFI 90.1 FM.

Jen hosts and curates The Uptown Sirens Collective at Davey’s Uptown Rambler’s Club. The Uptown Sirens Collective features acts fronted and driven by women who write and perform original music. The Uptown Sirens Collective is currently on hiatus with performances resuming in September. The Uptown Sirens Collective occurs on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 3402 Main Street in Kansas City.

Jen is project manager and co-collaborator for Redlined, a creative interpretation of the HEAT report for Community Health Council of Wyandotte County.

While working on Redlined, Jen discovered the rich history of the Quindaro neighborhood in Wyandotte County, KS. Jen is currently working with Justin Border, Meghan Rowswell and Jillian Youngbird on Weaving the River, an immersive art installation that sheds light on the often untold story of this fascinating community.

Award-winning Willi Carlisle and director Joseph Fletcher, are with us in our 90.1 FM Studios to share music and information about their show, “There Ain’t No More”, making a Kansas City Debut at the KC Fringe Fest. “There Ain’t No More” is the product of five years of research, down-home poetry, field recordings, music-mentorship, and folklore amidst the misty mountains of the Arkansas Ozarks. Winner 2017 Orlando Fringe “Best Show of the Fringe”, Portland Fringe “Patrons Pick”, and Tampa Fringe “Tech Pick”.

Willi Carlisle is an “Ozark renaissance folklorist” who writes “brilliant, slice of life Americana.” (Sing Out!Magazine) A theatre artist, folksinger, poet, and square-dance caller, Willi received a BA from Knox College in Creative Writing and Performance Studies, and an MFA in Poetry at the University of Arkansas. His work has appeared in The Journal of American Folklore, The Midwest Review, and elsewhere. Willi is a co-leader of the Fayetteville Old-time Music and Dance Society and a company member with the Artist’s Laboratory Theater. Joseph Fletcher is a director, producer, and stage manager. Past directing credits include Purim-Schmitz, China the Whole Enchilada (NYC), The New Now, Las Posadas, Alley 38, War of the Worlds, The Plowman, Candide, and The Sunshine Boys (Regional). In various capacities he has worked with the Walnut Street Theatre, Cirque Du Soleil, the National Tour of Chicago the Musical, The Signature Theatre, Prospect Theatre Company, Target Margin Theatre, Hippodrome State Theater, and Orlando Shakespeare Theatre and Orlando Opera. He is a founding member and artistic producer for the Artist’s Laboratory Theatre a nonprofit community based devised theatre company in Fayetteville, AR. He has a BFA in Theatre from University of Central Florida.

Joesph Fletcher, thanks for being with us on Wednesday MidDay Medley

During his last performance, a dying folksinger faces the life he has led, the legacy he will leave behind, and death itself with five instruments, square-dance calls, and enough dirty jokes to make a beaver blush. The medication-addled musician relives lost love, his experience of the Vietnam War, years of political activism, and adventures into the American wilderness in this haunting, heartfelt hootenanny. The Orlando weekly describes it as “A poetic celebration of America’s original art form that is simultaneously ancient and avant-garde.”

Developed in a collaboration with award-winning “Ozark renaissance folklorist” Willi Carlisle and director Joseph Fletcher, the play is the product of five years of research, down-home poetry, field recordings, music-mentorship, and folklore amidst the misty mountains of the Arkansas Ozarks.

21. Val Bennett – “The Russians Are Coming”

[From 1968, a cover of “Take Five” by the Dave Brubeck Quartet, which would later go on to be used as the theme tune to the British television series The Secret Life of Machines in the late-1980s. Val Bennett was born Lovall Bennett. His birthdate is unknown. He died in 1991. Val Bennett was a Jamaican tenor saxophonist and jazz and roots reggae musician who began his career in the 1940s. He made a number of releases on the Island Records and Crab Records labels. In the late 1940s, Bennett led his own band, the Val Bennett Orchestra. Artists that played in Bennett’s band included Jah Jerry Haynes, Lloyd Knibb, and Ernest Ranglin, whose first professional experience was with this band. The Val Bennett Orchestra performed regularly at the Colony Club, performing mainly for foreign visitors to Jamaica. The band also toured abroad, performing in countries including Haiti, where they picked up merengue and played it on their return to Jamaica. In the early to mid-1960s, Bennett was a regular member of Prince Buster’s band, playing on many of the singer’s best-known recordings, including “Al Capone”. Bennett was also a regular studio session musician, appearing on many releases from artists including Theophilus Beckford, Pat Kelly, Barrington Levy, and Delroy Wilson. Bennett’s session work included saxophone, horn, and trombone. In the late 1960s, Bennett joined Bunny Lee’s “All Stars”. Notable tracks by Bennett include “The Russians Are Coming” and “Tons Of Gold” (1970), with the Harry J Allstars, a version of their track “The Liquidator”. Bennett also worked for producer Lee “Scratch” Perry, and his spaghetti western-inspired “Return of Django”, recorded with Perry’s studio band The Upsetters was a major UK hit in 1969. His track “Baby Baby” was also included on The Upsetters’ album Eastwood Rides Again. Perry was the only producer to get Bennett to perform vocals, “Baby Baby” being one of these examples, the other being “Barbara”.]

[Sleep Well Beast is the upcoming seventh studio album by The National, an American indie rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in 1999. Currently based in Brooklyn, the band consists of Matt Berninger (vocals), Aaron Dessner (guitar, keyboards), Bryce Dessner (guitar), Scott Devendorf (bass) and Bryan Devendorf (drums). Founded by Berninger, Aaron Dessner, and Scott and Bryan Devendorf, The National released their self-titled debut album, The National (2001), on Brassland Records, an independent record label founded by Dessner and his twin brother, Bryce Dessner. Bryce, who had assisted in recording the album, soon joined the band, participating as a full member in the recording of its follow-up, Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers (2003). Leaving behind their day jobs, the National signed with Beggars Banquet Records and released their third studio album, Alligator (2005), to widespread critical acclaim. The band’s fourth and fifth studio albums, Boxer (2007) and High Violet (2010), increased their exposure significantly. In 2013, the band released its sixth studio album, Trouble Will Find Me, which was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.]

Kansas City based playwright, Cynthia Hardeman joins us to share details about her new play, Sun Of The Revolution, co-written with hip hop artist Storm, for this year’s KC Fringe Festival, with performances running July 21 through July 29 at Phosphor Studio in Kansas City. This play explores the generational gap between today’s style of hip hop in comparisons to the Golden Era. When a young man disturbs an older gentleman’s peace on a train ride, a battle of will and wit ensues.

Cynthia Hardeman currently serves as Playwright and Program Director for Drama Time (Children’s Theatre Program) at Just Off Broadway Theatre. She is a Parent Aide and Family Support Specialist with MO Div. of Family Services. And, Cynthia is an avid supporter and volunteer for KC MeltingPot Theatre.

Cynthia Hardeman has written over 20 plays and has had 7 of them produced. She worked in the Air Force for over 8 years, and later served as Broadcast Designer for KSHB TV. After graduating from UMKC Cynthia jumped head first into being a playwright. She is currently working on a new play called, “Truth Stands” a collaboration with dancer James Clark.

Storm is a Kansas City based MC, poet, and writer. Born Laneshia Shanay Neely, Storm graduated from Lee’s Summit Senior High and graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree from Metropolitan Missouri Community College. She stands 5’ 3” and weighs 120 pounds, but has a giant stage presence and voice when she grabs the mic. In a male dominated field, she commands respect. She lists her inspirations as: KRS-One to Queen Latifah. Since 2010 Storm has worked with the collaborative production company, NUWAYV Order with Khajewel, A.N.T.H.E.M., and Eveready.

[The band included: Knapp on drums & backing vocals, Cody Blanchard on rhythm guitar & vocals, CJ Wilson on lead guitar & front vocals, and Jason Schelp on bass & backing vocals. King City Thieves formed after vocalist and lead guitarist CJ Wilson collaborated on a project in late 2006 with bassist Dave Blank. CJ and Dave immediately found themselves on the same page musically and quickly became friends, but, as tensions and creative differences grew, that band soon ran it’s course. CJ and Dave decided to continue on with a new band and were joined a flashy, energetic drummer by the name of Boogie. In late 2008, King City Thieves were born. In a relaxed upper floor on US Highway 69, King City Thieves were busy writing an undeniable tapestry of punk rock n’ roll. After perfecting a sets worth of material, King City Thieves decided to call on long time friend of everyone in the band Chris Masochist to step in on rhythm guitar and vocals to make the sound fuller and well, louder. In the summer of 2009, King City Thieves recorded their debut EP titled “Whirlwind EP” that has sparked a fire in the punk rock and rock n’ roll community in the greater Kansas City area and even garnered some attention overseas. Unfortunately, Boogie had to part ways with the band though they all still remain great friends and supporters of each other. Knapp, another long time friend of the band came in and took up the drummer position and thickening up the backing vocals. Since the full lineup’s conception, King City Thieves have played in and drew crowds in all of Kansas City’s premier bars, clubs, hotspots, and basements. King City Thieves are a rowdy and resilient group of musicians that no matter what have each others backs and have established rock hard common ground musically. ]

18. Hopeless Destroyers – “Both Feet”

[A KC Punk band that managed to make it through 10 years of lineup changes and hardship. Defined by their breakneck chord changes and singer Josh Betterton’s rapid vocal delivery, Hopeless Destroyers hit you with intense songs about life, love, loss and kicking vampires in the nuts. Once described as “[…] bar punk with a lot of ‘woahs’, but better than a lot of that other bullshit” by Maximum Rock N Roll Magazine.] “Both Feet” is from an unfinished LP. The track was recovered from a session with Duane Trower at Weights and Measures Soundlabs in KCMO. On this recording: Josh Betterton on vocals; Smiley on backup vocals and lead guitar; Matt Klein on backup vocals & guitar; Brittain Lawless on bass; and Kriss Ward on drums. Editor’s note: The Destroyers were Steve Gardels first punk show in KC and I was their final drummer. Guitarist Matt Klein and vocalist Josh Betterton both passed away due to complications from drug addiction. They are greatly missed.)

Doug has played with Freedie Johnston, and the band Near Death Experience. Matt Kesler also plays in The Pedajets and The Doo Dads.

3. Sara Swenson – “Welcome To The Family”

[Critically acclaimed singer songwriter Sara Swenson has released some of our most played and favorite recordings of the last 10 years. Her self titled debut ended up at the top of our list of The 100 Best Recordings of 2009. In 2010 Sara Swenson released her second full length recording, “All Things Big and Small” again working with Don Chaffer in Nashville who added new layers to Sara’s great songs and voice. In November of 2011, Sara released her 5 song EP called “Never Left My Mind,” featuring her band at the time, The Pearl Snaps. In that time frame, she also had picked up two Kansas City Singer-Songwriter of the Year awards, performed with Sarah McLachlan’s Lilith Fair, and placed a song on the season finale of ABC’s “Private Practice.” Then after the school year ended in 2012, Sara Swenson left her job as a High School English and Journalism Teacher in Platte County High School, and left the Kansas City music scene, and she flew off to the United Kingdom, where she got married. In the Spring of 2014, Sara returned to Kansas City and performed for the Folk Alliance International Conference. Runway Lights is Sara’s fourth studio album that captures snapshots of her 18-month experience of living abroad, moving from dating to marriage and sorting through the accompanying transitions and emotions. Produced by Don Chaffer in Nashville.

4. Calvin Arsenia – “Constellation”

[Calvin Arsenia premiered these songs in a live show at recordBar last November. Since Calvin Arsenia came home to KC after living in Edinburgh, Scotland, he has released his EP, Moments, in 2014, and his EP Prose in 2015, and his Folk Alliance exclusive EP Catastrophe in 2016. He has played Folk Alliance International, Kansas City Fringe Fest, The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, The Kauffman Center For The Performing Arts. Standing at 6 foot 5 inches, Arsenia’s powerful vocals span a 3.5 octave range, while playing piano, banjo, guitar and harp Calvin teaches music to elementary students. On the phone we have Milwaukee based singer/songwriter Roxi Copland, who plays the Kansas City area on Tuesday, July 11, at 7:30 at InterUrban ArtHouse, 8001 Newton Street, Overland Park, Kansas.

Also joining us is Wolfe Brack Director of Operations at InterUrban ArtHouse, and Joy Baker a multi-media artist and owner of Createful Studios, LLC. Joy is a full time artist who has studio space at InterUrban ArtHouse.

Since 2008 Roxi Copland has released two EPs, two singles, a collaborative live album, a solo acoustic LP and two full-band LPs.

Roxi Copland grew up in Aberdeen Washington, but came to the midwest to go to school at Grinnell college near Des Moines, Iowa. Roxi Copland currently lives in Milwaukee.

InterUrban ArtHouse was founded in 2011 by local artist Nicole Emanuel, with 10 artist studios and a programming space.

Its mission has been to provide affordable work space to artists, as well as arts business classes, while bringing arts and cultural events to the Johnson County area.

InterUrban ArtHouse recently purchased the post office at 8001 Newton St (across from the former church basement they’ve been using) and renovated its 2000 square feet of space to expand their artist studios from 10 to 29, with over 40 artists and create a large gallery. We also have indoor and outdoor performance spaces for musicians and performers.

With their recent expansion, InterUrban ArtHouse now has two locations (across the street form one another at 8001 Newton Street and 8001 Conser Street) in Historic Downtown Overland Park.

InterUrban ArtHouse is looking to work with local & traveling musicians and performers of all sorts and get a live music series up and running. They also have a children’s and teen art camp that started last week, and we’ll also be offering art and writing classes to the public in the near future.

Along with the Tuesday, July 11 show with Roxi Copland, InterUrban ArtHouse is also hosting a grand opening of their newly expanded facility at 8001 Newton St in downtown OPKS on July 21 that will feature artwork from our 40 studio artists! Exhibition, studio tours (both at Newton and Conser Street locations) and live entertainment by local jazz duo A La Mode.

InterUrban ArtHouse operates 5 core programs:

Their ArtSmart program provided after school programming to at risk 5th & 6th graders. They also worked in grades K-6 in six schools. The summer months provided a no cost art opportunity each Wednesday to over 1350 children at the OP Farmer’s Market. In total, InterUrban ArtHouse served over 4,200 children!

Their entrepreneurial program, ArtWorks, hosted over 28 of classes to 277 small creative business owners, helping them advance their businesses.

ArtMatters continues to grow, offering a place for artists to teach as well as learn. The ArtHouse hosted 42 classes that were attended by over 370 seeking advancement in their creative practice.

Bringing art to the community, ArtsConnect reached large audiences through art exhibitions in Johnson County public libraries , stages at Overland Park’s Fall Fest, and each month on Local Life 3rd Fridays in our studios.

The InterUrban ArtHouse – Art Therapy program continues to provide an important alternative to traditional therapeutic options, in 2016 ArtHeals facilitated 26 events for our community.

The 4th Annual PorchFest KC, is scheduled for Saturday, October 14, in Midtown, KCMO, from Noon to 5:00 PM. Today on the show we’re playing music from three participating musical artists in this year’s festival, and we just heard KC based Keaton Conrad, who is signed up to play this year’s PorchFest. Registration is now open for bands wanting to apply. All genre welcomed.

Joining us to share details of Porchfest KC is Kathryn Golden who grew up in rural north-central Missouri. After college, she moved to the east coast on a whim to be an au paire. She spent her off days wandering the streets of New York City, plotting how she might permanently live in an urban area without it being in a cardboard box or having twenty roommates. When her job in NYC ended, she moved to Kansas City, where she landed her first and only truly corporate job — she taught a 30-day mutual fund program to customer service and tech workers. Eventually she moved to St Louis, where she was introduced to non-technical opportunities in tech companies. After a business trip to San Francisco, she decided she needed to live there. Over the next 14 years, she worked for a number of tech startups in project management, as well as a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. In addition, she co-founded a non-profit, all-ages jazz performance space in Berkeley, where kids could jam with, and open for, adult acts. She also owned a neighborhood grocery market. and her final role before returning to Kansas City was in helping develop demonstratives (graphics) for large white-collar crime trials. While there, she also partnered with the Oakland School District to create a dozen libraries in Oakland’s elementary schools. Since returning to Kansas City, Kathryn has launched a wintertime storytelling series at the Pilgrim Chapel, and most notably launched a unique music festival in Midtown. She is the founder of PorchFestKC, a community music festival that takes place from front porches. This October 14th will mark the fourth year for the event.

For PorchFest KC – All performances are 60 minute sets. Performances are acoustic or near-acoustic. The goal is to be heard to the sidewalk, not down the street. This is an all-ages, alcohol free event. Registration is now open at http://www.porchfestkc.com.

[The Host Country was born while Ty Wistrand on guitar & vocals and Diana Weishaar on keyboards & vocals were both attending the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. They shared a passion for similar artists and styles of writing that led them to begin collaborating together . They officially began playing under the name ‘The Host Country’ shortly after Ty moved to Des Moines in early 2011 and started playing proper venues both there and in Cedar Falls shortly thereafter. In May 2011 they recorded an EP at the Sonic Factory Studios in Des Moines which displays the folk and rock roots they built their sound on, then in 2014 they released a full length album recorded at Midday Studios in Des Moines, Iowa from February 2013 through March 2014, with bass, drums, strings, organ, and an overall bigger sound. Tom Rue on bass) and Ethan Weishaar on drums are now permanent and essential members of the evolving Host Country music where you can now hear a bit of everything, from folk to rock, Americana, blues, and beyond.]

Documenting all the details of the excursion included aspects of the weather, the general demeanor or specific behavior of the crew, and most certainly the level of the river. The river needed to be high enough to be navigable, and in that way, Clarke and I have been putting together our gear and supplies, building our boat, and watching the weather signs for about a year and a half at this point. The process of recording RSR took several months, beginning in early 2016. We made this recording at home with the best gear we could acquire at this point, and with Clarke’s long-built engineering and producing knowledge.”]

Since May of 2014 Bill Sundahl has served as 90.1 FM KKFI’s Special Events, Volunteer, Underwriting Coordinator. Prior to that he was owner of Spice of Life Productions. For more than a decade he has produced the Crossroads Music Fest, the Spring Dance, The Donkey Show, and many more great Kansas City events. He is also a working musician, playing bass and singing in the Starhaven Rounders. Bill was honored with Urban Hero Award from the Kansas City Downtown Council in 2007 and has won two Pitch Music Awards. He’s also on the Advisory Board of the Midwest Music Foundation. Derick Cunigan is a singer, songwriter who is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. He studied broadcasting at Northwest Missouri State University. He has worked for KMBC Channel 9, Steel City Media and KBEQ, KFKF, and KCTV Channel 5.

Singer songwriter Ivøry Black has been busy this year playing Crossroads Music festival, The Middle of the Map Festival, The Westport Roots Festival, the KCPT Screening of “Real Boy” at The Kansas City Publlic Library. Ivøry Black plays the Kauffman Stadium, July 1, before the 1:15pm Royals home game. Born in 1986 in Peoria Illinois, and given up for adoption at the age of four, it was difficult to find trust in people after living with eight different foster families. Running away at 15, Ivøry moved from Indiana to Oklahoma and eventually ended up in Seattle. In 2011 Ivøry moved to Kansas City, and has became a part of new family. On June 23, 2015, Ivory released the debut EP, “Ready Get Set.” Ivøry is now currently in the process of writng and recording a debut full-length album, to be released in early 2018. Ivøry Black joins us to share new songs including, “Family Tables” that will be released as a single in August. Ivøry Black plays Revolution Records, on Friday July 7. Ivøry Black played the June 9th Charity concert to raise funds for Cross-Lines.

Ivøry Black played the Plaza Branch of the Kansas City Public Library, on June 10th taking the stage for the KCPT screening of a documentary called “Real Boy” about a young man’s transition from female to male. The subject of the film, 19 year old Bennett Wallace is a talented musician and finds his voice and comfort in music.

Ivøry Black’s debut EP, Ready Get Set was released in June 2015, recorded and mastered by Larry Gann of Awestruck studios. Micah Burdick on guitar, Craig Kew on bass, and Lester Estelle, drummer for Kelly Clarkson, on drums for Ivory ‘s EP.

The new album is being recorded in Ivøry’s home studio, a dream made possible by the management skills of Klaartje Van Lue, who took the opportunity to guide Ivory’s career.

Klaartje Van Lue is Ivory’s manager and she was the one who helped IVØRY find her way to KC.

The songs were written and created by Rachel in her mother’s basement during the summer of 2014, and recorded, mixed, and produced by Rachel Mallin in September. “Listener’s are immersed into Rachel’s writing and production as each song musically transcends the discord of human emotion into a harmonious wave of expression.” Co-mixed by Michael Kessler. In less than a year following her four-track EP’s release, her songs “Razorback” and “Noise of the Night” were broadcast on radio stations in Kansas City and nationally. Anna Selle is a very busy person. She is staff Photographer at Playlistplay, she works for for The Record Machine, and currently serves as Program Associate at The Literacy Lab. She has worked for the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in the educational department and volunteered with Americorps, Anna Selle grew up in Kansas City and studied English at Truman State University. Anna Selle is the co-founder Editor at HearQueer, a new print + digital publication featuring interviews, reviews, stories about queer identifying musicians with portions of proceeds going to local organizations working to protect and advocate for the queer community.

Anna has brought along her friend and co-founder of HearQueer, Bill Dickey who serves as Managing Editor of Hear Queer. HearQueer launches on June 30, at Mills Record Company featuring Erica Joy and Rachel Mallin & the Wild Type.

Anna Selle (editor-in-chief), Kevin Briody (art director), and Bill Dickey (managing editor). wanted to have the first issue of Hear Queer launched during “Pride Month.”

Kevin Briody, is the guitarist for emo-rock band Mess.

The first issue will benefit KC Anti Violence Project
